The Three Rivers Heritage Trail is a 33-mile nonlinear trail along banks of all three of the rivers in Pittsburgh – Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio. The trail is mostly paved with a 1-2% grade in most areas with some areas reaching an 8% incline. This makes for a wonderful date to see all the natural beauty of the city.
There are so many access points to the trail, lending hikers to make their trek as long or as short as desired! You can access the trail from Point State Park, North Shore Park, the Strip District, Grant Street and 1st Street in Downtown and more.
